Jeux de formes, incarner la couleur (Playing with shapes, embodying colour)
Following my discovery of the laws and theories of colour, I was inspired by the work of Josef Albers and Karl Gerstner, among others. For these new experiments, I started from the premise that colours can be observed in relation to each other and that they are necessarily subject to a form, be it matter or light waves. I concentrate on the effect that different colour relationships have on us. I have chosen to use simple shapes to study colour through geometric abstraction, as well as playful media such as cubes and flip-books to generate discovery, sensitive experience and variation through manipulation.
