Salle VII
(Room VII)

This is a collaborative project with Manon Thiriot for the collective art edition MARE LIBERUM.

Manon Thiriot suggested working from a photograph of one of the rooms in Rome's MAXXI museum. Then, on the assumption that the edition would be printed in black and white, I suggested that she simulate a mural using image-editing software. Finally, to make the work visible, we decided to produce a QR code that would be printed in the edition.​

 

In this way, the concrete editorial space opens an Internet window onto a virtual space. Yet another way of demonstrating the tangle of possible spaces within our societies.
